Join us for a 1.5 mile walk to discover endemic and migratory birds at Huntley Meadows. Mourad Ezzine, an avid birder and photographer will lead the way and uncover his secrets to wildlife observation and photography. The walk is on flat surface and on boardwalk over wetland, so it is accessible to most with comfortable shoes.
We will start early at 7:45 AM on the premises, as sunrise is 7:36 AM and birds are most active just after sunrise.
Walking or athletic shoes are fine. If you can, bring binocular for close-up observation and your phone or camera to capture beautiful scenery and wildlife. Though not compulsory, you may download the MerlinBirdId app, which allows you to identify birds based on sound recordings.
