Step into a World of Diplomacy and Style: Shakshuka.org at "Fashioning Power, Fashioning Peace"!

Shakshuka.org is proud to announce our collaboration with the Tunisian Embassy in the second annual "Fashioning Power, Fashioning Peace" Exhibition at the prestigious Woodrow Wilson House. This unique event celebrates the intersection of fashion, diplomacy, and cultural heritage, bringing together garments that tell stories of power and peace from around the globe. We are incredibly excited to contribute to this rich tapestry of global representation, offering a glimpse into the heart of Tunisian tradition.

We invite you to visit the exhibition, running from May 8-10, and immerse yourself in the elegance and symbolism of international fashion. Among the many stunning pieces on display, you'll find a traditional Tunisian "Framla," a garment exquisitely adorned with handmade embroidery and shimmering golden threads. This remarkable piece, generously entrusted to us by a member of the Tunisian community, embodies the artistry and cultural significance that we are honored to share with you.

The "Fashioning Power, Fashioning Peace" exhibit offers a rare opportunity to experience the world through the lens of fashion. From

Thursday to Friday (12 PM - 6 PM) enjoy one-hour guided tours, or explore the exhibit at your own pace during Saturday's open house (10 AM - 5 PM) during the EU Embassy Open House Weekend on May 10. Tickets are $20 per person, and booking is required. To learn more about this extraordinary event and secure your tickets, please visit Fashioning Power, Fashioning Peace.
